I used to live in Federal Way (about ten minutes from Sea-Tac airport) and I can tell you that this is going to be a huge help for the area. Just in noise reduction alone home values should return to normal.

If this works well in Seattle it would be great to see grants like this given in other metro cities across the country. Less noise, cleaner air and more jobs, sounds good to me.
