As far as "On The Go with Ray LaHood" goes, this is it. I promised President Obama that I would stick around until the Senate confirmed my successor, and I will. But we hope that will happen soon, so this is my last episode of "On The Go."
I want everyone to know that answering your questions on YouTube is something I’ve really looked forward to every episode. Hearing directly from all of you is one of the reasons I describe this as "the best job I've ever had."
Responding to your questions and hearing what's on your mind when it comes to transportation has been a terrific opportunity. But I'm also happy to have had the opportunity to educate Americans about what the U.S. Department of Transportation is doing for them every day.
You might see my face in these videos, but behind the camera is where the important work of DOT is done by more than 55,000 men and women whose faces you don't see.
